Zum Leasing kann ich grad nix sagen, ich hab aber was anderes.

Die US-Politik ist grade wieder recht unterhaltsam. Da sind ja gerade
verschiedene Finanzierungsgesetze fuer (unter anderem) Ukraine- und
Israelunterstuetzung in Diskussion, und House Speaker Johnson hat jetzt nach
ewigem Rumgelaber und Blockaden die urspruengliche Senatsvorlage in 4 einzelne
Pakete aufgeteilt und will sie anscheinend kommenden Samstag zur Abstimmung
stellen.

Jetzt ist die Abgeordnete Marjorie Taylor Greene, ihres Zeichens radikalste
Gegnerin insbesondere der Ukrainehilfe, auf die Idee gekommen, einige
Ergaenzungen zu dem Gesetz einzureichen, die ein ungeahntes humoristisches
Niveau haben:

8) Requires all Members of Congress who vote in favor of this Act to conscript
in the Ukrainian Military.

11) Prohibits funding until Ukraine holds free and fair elections.

12) Prohibits funding until Ukraine stops persecuting Christians.

13) Prohibits funding until Ukraine closes all bio-laboratories and provides
all data on such research to the United States Government.

21) Redirects funding to victims of the Lahaina, Hawaii, fires.

22) Redirects funds to victims of the East Palestine train derailment.

23) Redirects funds to the Attorney General to initiate mass deportations of
illegals.

49) Reduces every dollar amount in the bill to zero.

50) Strikes the entire bill and replaces it with H.R. 2.

51) Redirects funding in the bill to build The Wall.

52) Redirects funding to families of individuals who die from fentanyl.

53) Creates a Treasury fund from which the Attorney General shall provide
assistance to families of individuals killed by illegal aliens.

56) Prohibits funding until Ukraine's Corruption Perceptions Index reaches a
level commensurate to that of its NATO-member neighbors.

57) Prohibits funding until Ukraine bans abortion.

58) Prohibits funding for the Azov Battalion.

59) Prohibits funding until Ukraine turns over all information related to
Hunter Biden and Burisma.

61) Reduces the Presidential Drawdown Authority to $100 million.

63) Prohibits funding for NATO troops in Ukraine.

64) Directs the president to withdraw the U.S. from NATO.

65) Prohibits funding until peace negotiations begin between Russia and
Ukraine.

66) Funds made available by this Act shall be offset by the salaries of
Members who vote in favor of it.

67) Prohibits funding until former actor Volodymyr Zelensky resigns as
President of Ukraine.

76) Requires any country that receives U.S. financial aid to provide the U.S.
with funds to build a wall on the southern border.

127) Prohibits funding until Ukraine lifts restrictions on the right of ethnic
minorities, including Hungarians, to use their native languages in schools.

Als Antwort darauf brachte der Abgeordnete Jared Moskowitz die folgenden
Aenderungsantraege ein:

62) Sense of Congress that Representative Marjorie Taylor Greene (GA-14)
should be appointed as Vladimir Putin's Special Envoy to the United States
Congress.

70) Renaming 403 Cannon House Office Building the "Neville Chamberlain Room"
[Kontext: Raum 403 ist das Buero von Marjorie Taylor Greene. Angesichts der
geistigen Leere finde ich es schade, dass der Raum nicht Nr. 404 hat.]
